BM&FBOVESPA Launches Stock Index To Measure Returns On Brazilian Financial Sector - Beginning On The First Trading Day Of 2010, The BM&FBOVESPA Financial Index Will Be Calculated And Disclosed, In Real-Time
The Brazilian Securities, Commodities and Futures Exchange will begin, on 4 January 2010, to calculate and disclose the BM&FBOVESPA Financial Index, in real-time. This is the Exchange’s 15th stock index and it will trade under the ticker symbol IFNC.

Ordinary Share Of Volkswagen AG To Leave DAX - Volkswagen AG Vz To Be Included In DAX - Unscheduled Change Effective 23 December 2009
Deutsche Börse has announced an unscheduled change in the composition of DAX. The freefloat of the ordinary share of Volkswagen AG has dropped below ten percent and does therefore no longer fulfill the requirements of the index.

Irish Stock Exchange Expands Its Membership Bzase - UBS Becomes A Primary Dealer In Irish Government Bonds - Nomura To Commence Equity Trading On The ISE
UBS becomes a Primary Dealer in Irish Government Bonds The Irish Stock Exchange (ISE) has approved UBS Limited (“UBS”) as a Primary Dealer in Irish Government Bonds. This brings to 13 the number of Primary Dealers which are member firms of the Exchange. The main role of the Primary Dealer is to continuously make markets in Irish Government bonds as well as participating in auctions organised by the National Treasury Management Agency.

3L3 Committees To Consult On Cross-Sector Internal Governance Issues
The 3 Level 3 Committees (3L3), CESR, CEBS and CEIOPS, publish today a call for evidence on cross-sector internal governance issues. The 3L3 Committees have conducted a stock take on and analysis of existing internal governance requirements applicable in the areas of banking, insurance and securities, and identified some areas for potential further harmonisation. The 3L3 Committees invite all interested parties to comment on the call for evidence by 9 April 2010.
