The Energa Group’s loyalty programme is ready to launch! As of 23 September, the programme accepts applications of investors interested in a specially prepared broad range of benefits.
Holders or co-holders of at least 500 Energa SA shares for at least six months can benefits from the attractive offer of the programme for individual investors “Energy In Action!” starting next week. Readiness for the launch was announced at a press conference in Warsaw on 16 September.
“The launch of the “Energy In Action!” follows intensive efforts. Over time, we have developed a unique programme with a very special offer. This is how we want to reward our investors for their commitment as shareholders of Energa SA and consequently build a stable position on the exchange,” said Grzegorz Ksepko, head of the Energa Group.
“Energy In Action!” is the first such comprehensive and broad programme offered by an energy company listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange (GPW) and addressed to individual investors. With the programme, Energa joins other leading companies on the Polish and international markets which are engaged in similar initiatives.
“We are a mature issuer and we are not afraid of engaging in new initiatives addressed to our shareholders. We have developed “Energy In Action!” together with a group of experienced and recognised partners. We are certain that our combined expertise and competences make up a programme that is just worth taking part in,” said Grzegorz Ksepko, Energa SA.
The conditions of participation in the programme include the requirement to hold an account with Dom Maklerski PKO Banku Polskiego. Eligible to take part in the programme are holders of at least one Energa SA share. However, the offer developed by the organisers is open to holders or co-holders of at least 500 Energa SA shares for at least six months.
A basket of benefits
What are the benefits offered to investors who join the “Energy In Action!” programme?
The main organiser Energa offers a 10 percent discount on a comprehensive installation service of individual photovoltaic systems up to 10 kWp. Investors can also use up to 50 percent discounts on products available in Energa’s online store. The Energa Group will also allocate to programme participants a pool of tickets to sport and cultural events it sponsors.
Investors who are new clients of Dom Maklerski PKO Banku Polskiego and join the programme will benefit from limited-time waivers of fees for the management of investment accounts.
“We always strive to meet the expectations of our clients, which is why we are happy to actively contribute to the programme. Individual investors are the driving force of the Polish capital market. We continuously work to address their growing needs and look for improved solutions in partnership with public companies. The programme is a great tool of building strong relations. Dom Maklerski PKO Banku Polskiego is happy to actively participate in market developments; we welcome positive changes in the approach to investors. Programmes like this one offer additional benefits to Poles.
Most importantly, participants get access to education which provides necessary knowledge about effective investing,” said Grzegorz Zawada, Director, Investment and Private Banking Line, PKO Bank Polski.
Investors are also offered free-of-charge membership in the Individual Investors Association (SII) for the same period of time, including all available benefits (such as access to educational materials and market research).
“Education is a key part of investing in public companies, including energy companies. It is the foundation of a rational approach to investing on the exchange. Experience clearly shows that if you can properly evaluate the company you want to invest in and its environment, you stand a much better chance of earning a return. This is why for 20 years now we have always promoted informed and rational investment decisions based on education. The “Energy In Action!” programme is a perfect match for our initiatives,” said Jarosław Dominiak, President of the Individual Investors Association.
The key pillars of “Energy In Action!” include education offered through five training sessions and workshops to be held among others in Gdańsk, Warsaw, and Wrocław, where experts will highlight the benefits of loyalty programmes and the principles of investing on the exchange.
“The concept of loyalty programmes addressed to individual investors ties in with the initiatives of the Warsaw Stock Exchange which support long-term investing on the capital market and promote issuers who focus on investor relations and appreciate their individual investors. We continue to engage in educational activities across Poland where we present the benefits of such programmes as well as GPW’s broad offer addressed to minority shareholders,” said Izabela Olszewska, Member of the GPW Management Board.
Another partner in the “Energy In Action!” programme is MyBenefit, Poland’s most active provider of services which deliver fringe benefits to employees, part of the Benefit Systems Group. Programme participants will have access to the MyBenefit Cafeteria: an online platform which provides thousands of cultural, tourist and leisure events and activities across Poland. The benefits include cinema and theatre tickets, holidays in different parts of Poland, ski passes, tickets to popular theme parks. Moreover, Energa will credit Cafeteria accounts of “Energy In Action!” participants with 140 points on a one-time basis, which can be used for any of the benefits. Once the credit is used up, participants can continue to use Cafeteria benefits on the same terms.
“Poland’s biggest employers use our Cafeteria to support the motivation and build the engagement of their employees. While the partnership model in this programme is somewhat different, we see many common points. Like most of us, programme participants have their passions and needs which may extend well beyond investing. Our benefits help them pursue their interests, relax, and keep the work-life balance. That is the mission of the “Energy In Action!” programme, which offers wide-ranging comprehensive benefits for individual investors,” said Jarosław R. Bilbin of MyBenefit Sp. z o.o.
